BreakFree Book Club
BreakFree sponsors a quarterly book club during the school year through our partnership with DonorsChoose. At the beginning of the school year, teachers may create a fundraising project to receive a class set of our four books for the year. BreakFree then makes available discussion questions, comprehension guides and student reflection journals for teacher use (linked below).

Our goal is to increase access to meaningful and engaging books for students, encourage reading and honest dialogue around contemporary fiction that delves into the issues young people in confinement face, and help schools expand their libraries.
